Antonia Grove

Antonia trained at the Rambert School and then joined Rambert Dance Company 1998-2003. She has danced for companies Walker Dance Park Music, The National Theatre, Random Dance, Bonachela Dance Company, The Cholmondeleys, Charles Linehan Company, New Art Club, Fabulous Beast, Matthias Sperling, Clod Ensemble, Headspace Dance and Vincent Dance Theatre.

She has worked with choreographers including Christopher Bruce, Jiri Kylian, Mats Ek, Merce Cunningham, Glen Tetley, Johan Inger, Ohad Naharin, Jeremy James, Richard Alston, Wayne McGregor, Javier de Frutos, Didy Veldman, Rafael Bonachela, Mark Bruce, Charles Linehan, Lea Anderson, Stephen Mear, Yasmeen Godder, Matthew Dunster & Wendy Houstoun.

As performer Antonia has twice been nominated for the Critics Circle National Dance Awards and a Time Out Live Award.

Antonia founded the dance theatre company Probe in 2004 and has produced and performed 5 touring productions to date: ‘Have we met somewhere before?’, ‘Magpie’, ‘May’, ‘Small Talk’ & ‘Running on Empty‘.

In 2016 she is writing, choreographing and performing a new solo work for Probe called ‘Now You See It‘, co-directed by Sue MacLaine.
